Dear Students,
I hope you are doing well! Today I spent some time baking cupcakes for a friends birthday! I thought of you all and how much we love our treats :) I was remembering our unit in writing on 'How- to Books" - you all did such an amazing job on those! I showed you examples and videos of how to make a pizza, a cake, cookies etc. and then taught you how to create a writing piece that includes all of the steps. Maybe you all could bake something today and then write a "How-to" story about your creation!

Those cupcakes look delicious. We baked a cake for my little sister’s 3 1/2 birthday on Saturday. Our cake had chocolate frosting, pink and white sprinkles, chocolate chips, and dinosaurs on top!
